Coaches Notes

Hey Team,

First of all, congrats to Coach Em on her 6th place finish at the Granite Games this weekend. Em wasn't feeling 100% but pushed through and finished well in a really tough field. Amazing!

 

On a related note, many of you have been asking "What's Next"? Well, here's the long and short of it.

This week will mark the beginning of a 3-4 week power cycle. You'll be seeing a lot of 'power' type movements focusing on speed and explosiveness. It's a perfect compliment to all the strength you've developed through Hatch & the 7/13 squat program.

At the end of this cycle we will move into a muscular endurance (with some hypertrophy) cycle coupled with some gymnastics skill work and tough conditioning. From there, back into a strength cycle, another power cycle and then right into 'Open' prep.

I'll keep you posted from cycle to cycle but this should give you an idea of what you can expect on more of a global scale. That should cover the next 5 months or so :)
