Coaches Notes

Hey Team,

We're getting closer and closer to the 2017 CrossFit Open!! More importantly, we're getting closer and closer to the 2017 CFS Intramural Open!

Here are your 2017 Captains!

Diane Szarro & Marcel Beatch
Adam Hunt & Amanda Birmingham
Justin DeMontarnal & Ryan Ruzycki
Vinciane DePape & Tyler Klashinsky
Josh Brennand & ___________ (this could be you! -- we need a c0-captain for coach JB - must be fun & organized)
Keelan Payne & Natalie Rollick

This Wednesday, we will meet with the captains in a very remote, undisclosed location where we will complete the 2017 Intramural Draft! Each captain will be granted 2 'saves' (BFFs & spouses usually) and then everyone else who is signed up for the Open on games.crossfit.com is up for grabs. There will be tears, cheers and probably some very strong language.

After the Draft is where it really gets fun. Each captain (and their drafted team members) are now able to recruit other members of CFCB to their team.
If you are not registered before 12pm on Wednesday be prepared to be approached, persuaded, convinced, bribed and potentially strong-armed (these people are VERY strong) into doing the Open, on their team.

Here's how the Intramurals works:

1. The Open WOD is released by CrossFit headquarters on Thursday for 5 weeks starting FEB23.
2. Complete the workout in the RX division, Scaled division or the new Intramural division (more on that later) and you get a point for your team.
CFS will be hosting the judged Open WOD on Sunday mornings & CFCB Saturday afternoons!
3. Finish in the top 3 men/women in any of those divisions for that workout and you'll get another point for your team.
4. Show up, throw down, have fun and revel in your awesomeness (and that of your teammates of course)

If you have questions, find me, message me, messenger-bird me.
